What is a prepathon?
Take a data-driven approach to your exam preparation with an online testing experience that can help you improve outcomes before your upcoming exam!
Login to our platform and access an online, timed practice test featuring a set of TrueLearn practice questions that you can take at any time during the specified testing window (between 2 to 4 days).
Identify areas for improvement through the timed assessment that simulates your high-stakes exam exam using questions similar to those you’ll encounter on test day.
Immediately after finishing the timed test, you will gain access to detailed explanations of correct and incorrect answer choices, and even see where you stand amongst your peers.
All participants will also have the chance to win prizes like gift cards and subscriptions for being the highest performers!

Frequently Asked Prepathon Questions
I registered for a Prepathon. When will I be able to log in?
You will be sent a welcome email with activation instructions on the morning of the event ahead of the scheduled start time. If you have an existing TrueLearn account, the subscription will become available on the day of the event. Once the event begins, you can login here. Your username will be the email you registered with, and you can reset your password if needed from the login page.
What if I have multiple subscriptions in my account?
The Prepathon will show under a new subscription in your account, displaying as “Institutional”. Use the Subscriptions drop-down, located in the upper left corner of your account home screen, to switch between your subscriptions. You will notice when viewing the subscription for the Prepathon, that a pink banner will display at the top of the screen indicating that this subscription does not support test creation. All registrants will receive an email entitled ‘IMPORTANT: Prepathon Instructions 
’ containing subscription details on the evening before the event takes place.
How do I start the mock exam?
Once the Prepathon mock exam has been assigned to you, you will find this under the “Quizzes” tab, within the assignments table. To begin your exam, click the navy blue ‘Start’ button after 5:00 AM ET on the specified date. This button will be grayed out with ‘Not Yet Available’ if you are accessing the tab before 5:00 AM ET on the date of the event. If you are unable to see or access the Prepathon mock exam but registered for the event, please contact support@truelearn.com.
How do I submit the exam when I’m ready?
When you have completed all questions and you wish to end the exam, you can submit your responses and complete the exam. Once you end the exam, you will not be able to edit the responses. The testing interface will differ between the different subscriptions that we offer:
TrueLearn Interface: Submit the exam by clicking “End & Review” in the header portion.
COMLEX Interface: Submit the exam by clicking “End Exam” in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
USMLE Interface: Submit the exam by clicking “End Block” in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
How can I retrieve my performance report after I’ve completed the Prepathon?
Upon completion, you are provided a detailed performance report that outlines your individual performance overall and includes a breakdown by category, which is helpful for gauging your strengths and weaknesses and pinpointing areas to focus on while studying. To access your report, click on the “Completed” tab from within the Assignments table, click the three dot vertical menu that appears in the top right corner of the assignment card, and select “View Summary”.
How can I review the questions and explanations once I’m finished?
Once you finish the mock exam, you will be able to revisit each question you took, review detailed explanations including key learning points, linked references, figures and visual aids, and see which questions you missed or answered correctly for seven days. To review your exam, click on the “Completed” tab from within the Assignments table, and click the blue “Review” button.
When does my TrueLearn access expire?
Your TrueLearn access expires seven days after the day of the event. Participants will have exactly seven days from the day of the event to review test questions and download their individual performance report. Once your access has expired, you will no longer be able to review or obtain access to this information.
What if I need help during the Prepathon?
If you need further assistance during the Prepathon, please review the guides located on the bottom left corner of the home page. If you are unable to see or access the mock exam but registered for the event, please contact support@truelearn.com.
