Student Study Habits, Concerns, and Stress Following USMLE® Step 1 Shift to Pass/Fail

In January 2022, the USMLE® Step 1 reporting model shifted from a three-digit score to a pass/fail format to help medical students better manage exam stress and anxiety over residency matches. Has this changed the way medical students study and approach exam prep?
